With the 'beauty/makeup' part of my brain activated, I thought I might as well write a blog post on my favourite drugstore beauty products! So, here we go!
Best Concealer: - Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
- Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
I had to choose two concealers, just because I couldn't choose between the two of them. The Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer is really good for under eye circles/darkness, but doesn't offer the same amount of coverage as the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. It isn't great for covering spots or blemishes, but is still a great under eye concealer.
The Collection concealer is amazing for covering blemishes and spots, it can be used under your eyes, but doesn't have the same 'anti-fatigue effect' as the Rimmel concealer. This concealer is great for days when you can't be bothered to wear foundation but still want to cover up a few spots or blemishes!
As you saw in my 'July Favourites' (previous blog post), I have been loving using the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation! It has a medium coverage, it makes your skin glow (in a good way!), it STAYS PUT on your face and definitely makes you look more awake. The foundation contains tiny specks of glitter which really help to brighten your complexion. So many people love this foundation, and rightly so!
Although I cannot name one particular blusher that I would call 'the best', there are brands such as Sleek who do AMAZING blushers! Their blushers are always super pigmented, come in a variety of colours and are always packaged really well.
The Sleek trio 'Lace' is definitely one of my favourites because it has lots of nice spring/summer colours that are really flattering.
This bronzer is so gorgeous! The pigmentation is great, it smells amazing and overall, it is such a great product.
It looks so beautiful on the skin and gives a really natural finish when used for contouring and overall bronzing. I would definitely recommend it to people who are looking for a subtle, natural look as when too much is applied it does make you look a bit orange!
P.S It comes in 2 different shades!
Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam
Personally, I enjoy using a mascara that lengthens me lashes and does all its 'mascara work' but still leaves them looking natural, for that reason I am not such a big fan of heavy mascaras such as "Maybelline The Falsies".
This mascara wand separates my lashes, making then look natural and fluttery?! All I would say, is that it is a very wet formulae which means it takes a while to dry once applied.
Finally, my favourite thing in the whole world...
Nail Polish!
Instead of rambling on about all the different colours, I thought I'd show you... DaDa DAAAA DaDaDaDa DAAAAA!
For all you lazy people, like myself, who cannot be bothered to go to town and shop, I have kindly left the web addresses so that you can shop for them online. Us lazy people got to stick together!
