As a little girl I have many a fond memory of this beautiful place. The picture above is a photo taken from my grandparent's back garden. It shows "Mama's Island" a small yet magical island that can be accessed on foot when the tide is out. Despite only climbing the island once (wearing plastic bags over my light-up trainers!) I still remember sitting down and looking out to sea. It is a memory I would not swap for the world.
I can also remember making a bow and arrow, out of bamboo and flax, with Papa. Although it snapped SEVERAL times, it was the first time I was really proud of something I had made. (Perhaps because it had the ability to kill someone?!?!) As soon as I can, I plan to fly back there to create even more memories.
